Kwajbasket is a solo guitar project started by Sam Gould in 2011. The focus is simple: seeing how much sound can be pulled out of a single guitar and a few pedals. Using a mix of hardware loopers and digital processing, Gould builds layered, drone-heavy tracks that move slowly and fill the room.  The project has spent over a decade refining this approach, turning basic guitar signals into thick, ambient atmospheres. It’s music designed to work in the background or as something to get lost in—straightforward, loop-based explorations of tone and texture.
